Hi John,
I’ve recently purchased a Delta Unisaw. I am some what obsessed with machinery being near perfect in terms of alignment. My question to you is are the following variations on my saw blade / miter slots acceptable or should I strive for improvement.
Saw Blade: Forrest WW II, Front of blade (0); moving to center of blade (+ .002); continueing to rear of blage (- .001) . Blade or miter slot is out (-.001) from front to rear, although accounting for the (+.002) in the middle of the balde I have a total variation of (.003).
Is this as good as I can hope for or should I look for improvement ?

Those are excellent numbers, in fact so good that I would be suspicious of a measuring error.
Don't get too hung up on getting your saw aligned to the last .001", get it close and start cutting wood, then check the wood for square and straight. If the wood is square and straight, that's all you need to make furniture.
There is a WWII era Russian proverb that goes something like "The perfect is the enemy of the good." The sentiment also applies to setting up woodworking machines.
