I’ve seen a lot of discussions about choice of blade (manufacturer). I think we all have our favorites. However, I’m at a point of needing to get several sharpened?
Anybody got recommendations about services they recommend for sharpening? I’m in the Portland OR area. Or someone I can ship to and feel comfortable the results won’t be diminished cause I can’t come back to the shop and %*$&^ later?
Thanks anyone?

Dave, I was happy with the job Forrest did on about 3 blades and several router bits. They'll sharpen other brands. Not the least expensive initially, but my local sharpeners work didn't last.
Go to http://www.forrestblades.com and scroll to blade sharpening info at the bottom.
Thanks so much. DUH....I didn't even think Forest. Sigh.....No wonder my blade is dull?
Well, if you want to ship them to Cypress Texas, MVP Sharpeners does an outstanding job. All their sharpening is computer controlled to the exact needs of your blades. The have one machine they load up in the day, and it sharpens all night, unattended. They will be much sharper than when new. Cypress is a suburb of Houston. The owner once told me that they do several hundred circular saw blades a day, but only have like 10% of the Houston market.

They also do router bits, planer blades, and the like. But not band saw blades.

I have it on good authority that Ballew Saw and Tool does an excellent job.

Thanks Forestgirl....I'm old, my brain can't manage too many options. I'll try Forest first. I can actually remember that name I think.....
