Hi – I’m just wondering what’s the best way to pack up my sawblades when I send them to the company for sharpening. I don’t want to have to use new boxes every time. Is there something I can buy or make that I can re-use each time I send them out?

If you make up a special reusable box to hold the blades there is a pretty good chance that the blade service won't return it to you, since that would require extra handling, and keeping track of the box, and probably additional postage.
A packed up single 10" saw blade weighs just a little over 3 pounds.
If you ship the blade by Priority Mail, the post office will give you, for free, a nice big sturdy box that will hold the blade with sufficient room for plenty of newspaper packing around the blade. The postage for shipping the blade by priority mail is under $7.00 only about a dollar more than the rate for ordinary parcel post and the blade will be delivered to the blade service in just a couple of days instead of a week or more that ordinary shipping takes, it's a great deal.
If you ship more than one blade at a time, you should get a flat rate Priority Mail shipping box that will cost around $9.00 for postage. A flat rate box has no weight restriction, so you could ship a half dozen blades in the single box for the $9.00 fee.
Free Priority Mail shipping boxes should be available in a rack in the lobby of any post office.
