I have a ~60 year old Disston back saw, in good shape but in need of sharpening. The blade is true, but a few of the teeth are worn down almost to nothing (12 tpi, cross cut). I’d like to get it sharpened and use it as a tenon saw.
Any recommendations of a good vendor to sharpen it in the Pennsylvania area? Any personal experiences?
Thanks,
Glaucon

One of the best. They sharpen mine. They sharpen saws from all over the nation, and probably a few other countries.

Thanks Alan- I called them today- they seem very professional. BTW, they are moving to new digs in a month, so you may want to call them before sending them any work.Glaucon
