Sawstop Bent (?) / Misaligned Tilt Shaft
Hello Community:
I am in the process of repairing the locking mechanism on the tilt control for my Sawstop 3HP PCS. I’ve done a lot of searches on this topic, but I haven’t seen any similar issues – my tilt shaft is angled down to the point that it contacts the cut out hole for the shaft to exit, and it has crushed the bushing normally here to act as the stop for the lock wheel key.
Anyone have some insight on how I might address this? SawStop tech support was not as helpful as I would have liked. Thanks in advance. See photos for what I am facing.

The tilt shaft runs through a support bracket that is mounted with two socket head bolts. If one or both of these bolts loosened up, it could let the shaft angle down. Getting to the support bracket to check the tightness of the socket head bolts might be a start.
Thank you! As it turns out, putting the wheel back on the shaft allowed me to put enough pressure on it to reset it into place. I’m back in business! Thanks all!
