Sawstop model CB31230 installation
Our shop has just acquired a Sawstop model CB31230. The manual mentions a noise free electrical environment is desirable. Does anyone have experience with what kind and level of EMI will cause grief? Is it desirable to have some form of EMI suppression? I have seen lots of really positive comments on the web, since they have only been out in the real world for a bit under 2 years does anyone have any ho-hum or negative experience and installation advice?
Cross posted to Woodcentral, Taunton Knots and rec.woodworking.
Thanks, John.

Out of curiosity, what kind of response did you receive from the folks at SawStop when you asked them your question about EMI?

Received the following:
"The need for any suppression is not needed. We had inserted that in the manual when it was a theoretical situation. We have not seen any problems in this area. The saw itself has very good EMI suppression"
Thanks for the reply - good to know Sawstop is responsive to your inquiries!
