Hello folks,
I’m new here and in desperate need of advice from anyone that knows of this kind of thing.
I have a Sawstop 3hp. Pro.
The top bushing at the main elevation rod has come out of its housing and is loose.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how to make therepair?
It’s Saturday and can’t get tech support on the line.

Hello,
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your SawStop 3hp Pro.
If the top bushing at the main elevation rod has come out of its housing and is loose, it may be a result of wear and tear, or it could have been caused by an accidental impact.
If you're comfortable working with power tools, you could try tightening the bushing by using a wrench to turn the nut on the top of the elevation rod. However, if the bushing is completely detached from the rod or if there is any damage to the bushing or housing, it may need to be replaced.

If you're not comfortable attempting the repair yourself, I would suggest waiting until you can speak with a SawStop technician for advice on the best course of action. It's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to working with power tools.
In the meantime, it may be best to avoid using the saw until you can determine the cause of the issue and ensure that it is safe to operate.
