I’m a brand new member of this site so pardon any ‘misnakes’..

I have subscribed to and am an avid reader of, Fine Woodworking,  from Issue 1 to date.  Being retired, I enjoy amateur puttering around in my woodshop, (less so since the advent of the PC and internet)..

My granddaughter has put in an order for a bed which I had promised when I made a headboard for her older sister.  What I would like to find is a set of plans for a captain’s bed since she is a “collector.” Taunton has a bed book for which the index shows an article captioned “Design for a Captains Bed” but I don’t want to buy a book unless I’m sure that the actual plans are included. 

I guess my question is where can I find a set of plans for captains bed preferably with six drawers under the bed.  I have checked several web sites so far without success
