Hi all,
I am doing a project for our baseball team that is essentially a large 3′ circle cut out of pressure-treated plywood, painted like a baseball with dates and sectional championship decals on the front. What sealer would you recommend that won’t yellow the white paint?
Thanks in advance!

I would suggest a marine grade white paint. Buy the primer/sealer that goes with the system. Housepaint is also designed for outdoor use, why do you want to overcoat it?
MJ,
I am hoping to overcoat it because I was planning on using vinyl decals for some details on the sign. I was trying to avoid trying to use stencils and buying 5 colors of outdoor paint so I wanted to find a topcoat for it so the vinyl will last longer. Just trying to get longevity out of the sign.
Check with someone that knows about the vinyl. Some solvents mayvdo more harm than good and it seems to me water based products might not adhere well to the plastic. Anyone out there in the sign biz?
