Searching for a Woodtek dealer.
In Fine Woodworking’s latest “Tools and Shops” issue they did a feature on Hybrid Tablesaws and their “best overall” was Woodtek 148-271. I cannot find how to reach a dealer or Woodtek. Does anyone know how to find the info. that I am seeking?
Thanks.

David,
Ahoy Mate! I believe Woodtek is sold through Wood Workers Supply of New Mexico. look them up on the net ! They are there I just checked. I would have posted their site so you could just click on it but I don't know how to do that yet.

Woodtek is the house brand of Woodworker's Supply, their web site isn't working very well at the moment.

Thanks Danny for replying. I did know that Wood Workers Supply handles Woodtek but I could not find their table saws that matched the one in Fine Woodworking. Maybe I will give them a call.
Thanks again for the reply.

Danny,
If you move your mouse up and right click the link in the Address box of your browser, it should bring up a Drop Down Menu, and click on Copy. Go to your post and set the cursor in the post and Right click again and select Paste.
Another way is to highlight the Address and press and hold the Ctrl and hit the C key (Copy), then go to your post and left click in the post and press Ctrl+V (Paste). This is the way I do it as I find it easier.
This is how I put this link in here: http://woodworker.com/cgi-bin/search.exe

Congrats, your link worked. You want to be careful, though, that no extraneous keystrokes get in the way, which almost happened with the ! in front of the URL you posted. This can be ensured by putting a couple of spaces before and after any URL you post.
Now, for "Advanced" URL work: Some URL's are very long, such as the ones from Amazon. You can make a hyperlink to any words you type by using the little globe icon (it's the blue thing:
View Image
in the composition box (where you type your messages). For instance, if you typed "the saw I'm considering is this one." You would use your mouse to highlight "this one" and then click on the globe icon. A pop-up box appears, and you paste the extra-long URL into that box and click OK. The sentence then appears like this:
"The saw I'm considering is this one."
Makes for an easily read post without some URL spilling off the right side of the monitor, and you the author are now a techno-whiz!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks Forest Girl for the advanced lesson. I should sit down with any of my three sons more often as they are all computer genius's. I'm just to busy working in the shop to sit down and learn how to navigate all around the computer with its various programs, although I really do need to get a good program for sketching my projects and for making cut lists, especially when I do kitchens or runs of cabinets.... So today is Thanksgiving and all the guests have left and I may just head to the shop for some clean up or something. Cool thing about woodworking out here in So. Cal is you rarely need heat in the shop during the winter as the temperature is almost always mild. I've been working outside most the week milling some WRC with a router for some fireplace wall effects. Speaking of fireplaces which we only use three or four times a year just for effect. Many use them so little that they are taking them out. Love the smell of that cedar. Took a whole lot of the sawdust and put in various containers around the house for an awesomely fresh forest smell. The shop has been in transition this past several weeks with the addition of some new tools. A new 8.5' sliding panel saw from Mini Max and a new 20" three horse power band saw from Jet. Awesome tools! I keep thinking I'm going to sell my Powermatic 66 and my 14" Delta band saw then I start thinking how nice it would be to keep them both to set up for dadoing and dedicated sawing. We'll just have to clean up and reorganize the shop to see if we can keep them all. Anyway, have a nice holiday season and best wishes to you and all yours.
Danny
