Searching for Walnut Crotch/Figured Walnut

I need walnut crotch for a desk and bookcase. The bookcase you will find in a picture attached has 2 raised panels. A book-matched pair would be the ideal solution for my project.

Additionally, the desk lid(folds down) is a crotch(or other figured walnut) piece.

Dimensions:

Panels: 12”wide and 32”long and final thickness 5/8”

Lid: 15”wide and 35” long and 7/8thick

I can work with a little twist in the panels since they will be in a framed door(stiles and rails) holding them flat.

The lid is tricky. I don’t want to laminate a featured section on the front of the fancy desk. I guess that’s the challenge. The lid does not need to be match with the panels but the closer I could get to some harmony—the better.

You might also try talking to Lewis Judy at Northwest Timber. He has some of the best figured walnut around and posts pictures of every piece on his website. I think it's http://www.nwtimber.com . I have bought from him and Goby. Hope this helps
