I own a Sears 8″ Table Saw (King Seely) 103.2216 model which has a 1/2″ arbor. Even though I also have a 10″ TS, I love the 8 “incher” and have used it for almost 50 years… You can’t get the arbor & bearing anymore from Sears, however, I’m aware that in the 1950’s Sears also sold a 9″ table saw which uses many of the same mechanical parts as the 8″ saw but uses a 5’8″ arbor which will fit my saw. I’d like to see if any of these can be purchased new from Sears Parts? Trouble is I don’t know the model or part # … I’m sure it starts with, “103.—” Is there anyone out there who owns one of the 9″ saws who could give me a model # and even more grateful for the arbor – bearing #….
Many thanks….

Hey Drew -
I have a 50's era Craftsman King Seely 9" Table Saw. The model number is 103.20001. I inherited 5 0r 6 old Craftsman machines from the son of an old pattern maker. He had all of the manuals as well. I can't find it right now, but I know I have it around and could get you the part numbers you need. You could also look on OWWM.com (Old Woodworking Machines) you could probably download a copy of the manual with all of the part numbers. I did that for the Band Saw.
Many thanks... now, I'll go to "Sears Parts" to see if I can get the arbor --- however, if you do locate the manual, I'd appreciate getting the arbor-bearing part #.... just so you know, many parts from a 8" Craftsman saw (my model is 103.2216) will fit your saw. Thanks again.
ThreePuttJoe,
Hi, I actually own a 103.20001 that I recently inherited. I'm having trouble finding a place to purchase the table extensions from? I was wondering if: a) you know of a place that I could find these; or, b) since you mentioned having several vintage craftsman machines, you would have this item yourself. According to the manual, it's part # 9-2085 (single table extension) or 99-2088 (double table extension). Any info you might have would be very helpful to me! : )
Thanks
Patrick
