My favorite auctioneer is doing his annual Seattle School District surplus auction on Saturday, May 6th. Here’s his email blurb, followed by his web site:
5/6, Seattle School District Surplus Auction, May 6, Saturday at 10AM,Preview, 9AM, Lg Quantity shop & kitchen equipment, 5 Metal lathes, 2milling machines, bender, band saws, drill presses, grinders, disc & beltsanders, 3 wood planers, scroll saws, shear, welder, wood lathes, surfacer,vises, shop tables, metal & woodworking, SS tables, 5 mixers, sinks, lotsof pots & pans, bread racks, carts, lg new venting equipment, duct work,teachers desks, wood office chairs, old cabinets, overhead & opaqueprojectors, file cabinets, pianos, jack hammer bits, kilns, spools wire, etc
If you have time to preview, but not to stay and bid, do not fear leaving an absentee bid. I’ve left dozens with him over the past 13 years and never had him abuse the bid (i.e., take it to the limit when there’s no competition).
Might see you there! Haven’t been to one in ages.
