seeking plans for hexagonal bench for eagle scout project

Hello,
My name is Zach and I’m getting ready to do my Eagle Scout project. One project I’m looking at is building a bench around a 200 yr old tree at the VA Clinic. The tree is 45in in diameter. I was was thinking that a hexagonal bench with a clear space of 50in would be adequate. A requirement of the property owner is that the bench must have a back and preferable be made out of wood.
I am seeking plans for a hexagonal bench with a back. I was wondering if anyone had a set of plans they’d be willing to share or direct me to a good set of plans for purchase.

I remembered this project from an article I read a few years back, I hope it's useful. Personally I think this a very handsome bench. Good luck with your project.

Size
You might want to think of making it a bit bigger. Remember that tree might increase in diameter by as much as 3/8" per year. I would go for a seat diameter of 18"-24" or larger than the tree diameter.
