Segmented cutter head set up for delt DJ20 jointer
After watching video of Rohan Johnson changing a jointer to a segmented cutter head, how do you adjust the out feed table to the new head. The video sates adjust as needed. What and how do you make the adjustment ?

You adjust it the same way you do if you were using knives. Make the out feed table the same height as the cutter heads.
I forgot to add. Since only 1 segment will more than likely be at the top of the head at a time you need to adjust it to that one. When I changed mine out I used one that was near the center of the head than checked it with one on each end. It all lined up properly.
The DJ-20 is a parallelogram tabled jointer. You release the locking handle and use the lever to adjust the height. If the lever is gone, pull the infeed table lever and use it. Adjusting the outfeed table is a less frequent operation than the infeed. If the outfeed lever were missing, I doubt I would bother to replace it. Lock it down when you have your setting. The Grizzly G0490 (and other colors) is a clone of this decades old and wonderfully solid design. Grizzly's manuals are online and would translate well to your machine.
