Hello
I was curious if anyone has used resin to make a dead flat surface. I would think that gravity would make the resin perfectly flat while thin and wet but perhapse the curing process might introduce a less than perfect surface.
Has anyone tried this?
What did you use?
Did it work?
How flat is flat?
Thank you.

The resins I know are both affected by significant surface tension which certainly prevents them for getting fully flat, and from shrinkage during the curing process, some just a little, others more extensively. There are lots of better way's to get dead flat surfaces.
