I’ve had a request from a customer to build a replica of the desk used by US senators. Apparently, each senator has the same “official” desk. Any ideas where I can find plans? Thanks!

Mark,
Sorry no one else has replied to this request yet, sounds liike an interesting project. This is probably not much help, but I'm about halfway through a book right now about LBJ; it is "Master of the Senate" by Robert Caro. Inside both front & back covers are pictures of the Senate floor, including photos of the desks. Not much detail is visible, but they appear to be similar to the old style school desks with the hinged top. If you contact your Senator's office maybe they could provide a close up photo of the desks if you can't locate plans. Good luck with your search. GP
