Hi,
We have this kitchen island cabinet and would like to remove the skin and add some cabinets and then reuse the skin behind the new expanded cabinetry.
Seems the wood is attached somehow to the cabinet. I can’t find any nails. Anyone know if this may be nailed in somehow or if it is glued on how it may be removed?
Thanks!

Looks like the skin you are talking about is the frame and panel construction of the cabinet. if you try and remove it the cabinet may start to come apart? Finish nails/staples plus some glue are usually used to attach. I think in a care full process of deconstruction you could do it. However its your time to do it and the time to repair the damages might not make it worth it.
