set up mistakes (don’t people check?)
I saw a display for a miter gauge published by the manufacturer wherein the gauge was put in the saw slot backwards. Seriously dumb.

"The Miter Gage was put in the slot backwards" hmm you mean you can't do that??
I've used the backward miter guage position when cutting extra wide panels. Start backwards, go until the guage will seat going forward, stop the saw, change guage position, finish the cut. But only for things that don't have to be terribly accurate.
However, if I was publishing a picture of my "new and improved" miter guage I would certainly place it in the forward facing position it's used 99% of the time.
I assume the problem is that a tool company will hire a professional photographer to come and shoot the new product. (I doubt that they send the product to the photographer unless it's very small) But that still begs the question, isn't somebody from the company there? I would again assume (getting dangerous here) that the "somebody" from the company is in sales and doesn't really use the stuff.
Either way, if it were MY company, I would at least take a look at the advertising due to be published. (I do by the way) Justus Koshiol

I use mine in the backwards position also, occasionally, but I sure wouldn't position it that way for a publicity picture. Looks dumb.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

Please forgive me, the penny hasn't quite dropped, but I'd love to know..... whats the problem with the photos?
Your right, I've never used a roller stand.... but I have used a quick grip.
Ben.
Ben,
Same here. All I can guess is the back jaw isn't all the way to the stop. I've seen way worse then that though like featherboards on the back side of a saw blade.

This type of clamp can be converted into a spreader. The yellow tab on the tail piece pulls down to allow it to be removed and re-positioned on the opposite end of the clamp. But in either position the yellow tab is supposed to lock over the stud.
The roller stand is set up backwards, used this way, especially with the "catch" attchment, will cause the stand to tip over. look at the feet.
I attached pictures with crude instructions.

Dude,
You gotta get out more.

Amen to that.
Hey now, I could start getting really picky, like the fact that all corded tools have their cords airbrushed out, or the fact that backless computer desks never have cords hanging all over the place, or...
wait, I am out of control!

Just hook up the left sink bowl for me!!
use a manifold to connect both outlets to a common single S-bend.
you sure theres room over the trash cans?
It's hard to tell from the angle, but I think so. At least one of the European sink makers recomments that multiple sinks be connected via a manifold rather than individual S-bends. My twin sinks are connected this way.
I've certainly seen sinks connected that way, but I really don't think there is room for much of anything under the left sink shown here. You have to have the bottom of the basket strainer, at least a bit of tail piece, and then the 90* angle for the manifold. and while you can pull thoes up close to the bottom, I think that it would still take up 5-6" under the bottom of the sink . It dumbfounded me. On vacation a couple of weeks ago the timeshare unit had a shallow kitchen sink, one rectangular bowl about 6 inches deep, with a mediun size dishwasher underneath. Never saw that before, I gotta get out more. That might be an idea for my small kitchen, renovation in small steps over many years :o).
Hated that stacked washer dryer.
And who was the idiot that programed out some of the bedroom cable channels.
Enjoy, Roy
Plenty of room for a 3/8ths drain pipe!

I Like the idea of dropping compost straight into the trash better. :) Justus Koshiol

The left sink bowl is where you put the stuff that you will later take out to the compost pile ;-)Steelkilt Lives!
