   Keeping in mind that there is no such thing as a genuine Shaker coffee table... there is a beautiful example in "Thos. Moser's Measured Shop Drawings for American Furniture". $16.06 at Amazon. The book has a lot of nice furniture ideas and plans.

   *I'm a little late to this thread, but...Taunton's book, "In The Shaker Style" has a nice article (p. 28) by Peter Turner about the development and building of a Shaker-influenced coffee table (in which he also acknowledges that there is no such thing in "real" Shaker furniture!).David
