Can someone explain the proper technique of sharpening a ‘v’ gouge. Pics would be helpful.

Thanks very much. The funny thing is that instinctively one would think that sharpening a V gouge is a relatively easy task. Here's someone who has written a 17,000 word document that includes 70 photos. I guess it's not such a dumb question after all, as I found out when faced with re-grinding from scratch the cutting surface of my gouge.
