Hello All,
I am attempting to sharpen some new mortise chisels. I have found plenty of information on how to sharpen bench chisels, but not much on mortise chisels. Specifically, I’m trying to figure out the desired bevel angle. Is this the same as other chisels?
Thanks.

Both Lie-Nielsen and Lee Valley recommend a secondary bevel of 35 degrees on their mortise chisels.
Lie-Nielsen's instructions go on to say if you are working in very hard woods like hard maple or exotics, to hone the bevel angle even steeper and take light cuts.
I hone mine between 35 and 40 degrees.

Great! thanks for the information - I didn't think to look there.

There are some other considerations for pigsticker chisels too. What kind do you have?
Pigsticker? I'm not familiar with that term. I have some relatively inexpensive Narex Mortising chisels...
