I need superblond flakes , homesteadfinishing is out of stock. I see that rockler sells Liberon branded flakes and Woodcraft is simply overpriced. Would you buy them from Amazon? Would you please let me know if you’ve used Rockler’s product, would you buy from Amazon, or what other supplier would you recommend. Thanks for the help.

Try this place in Napa, Ca. They are local to me and in addition to have a most complete stock, the owner is a highly trained in finishing, even gives classes on the history and usage of shellac.

I've bought from them their blond shellac. I was happy with it. Needed to filter it before use but then again, that should be the default approach with shellac you make.
Tools for Working wood carries superblond flakes. But I think they get them from shellac.net

I think you can get it on Amazon but I just buy it directly from them. They’re very fast.
Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop also stocks shellac flakes.
