Has anybody recently bought a LT14SE? How was it shipped? Was it in a crate or on a pallet? Was the motor attached or not attached? Was it shipped from Irvine, CA or Carlisle, PA?

We just received one of these machines for testing at the magazine. It is in a corrugated cardboard carton attached to a standard wood pallet with steel strapping. The motor is attached, only the table isn't attached and it was simple to install.
It is both tall and moderately heavy, if it comes on a standard truck you will need a loading dock or a hydraulic tailgate on the truck to get it off safely. Normally a machine is shipped from the warehouse closest to your location unless it is only stocked at the more distant location.

Laguna uses ABF for their freight shipments. The saws are shipped from Irvine, CA and, if bound for the eastern US, (and Canada, I suppose) are routed through ABF's distribution terminal in Carlisle, PA.
