First, I believe that the subscription price for FWN.com is too high for those who subscribe to the magazine. But, I realize that a business that does not make a profit will soon take it’s place beisde Eastern Airlines in the corporate graveyard.
Therefore, it is in my interest for Taunton to be profitable enough to give them an acceptable return on their equity, if it I wish to continue using the web site.
So, I ask myself which I had rather have as a Christmas present, another shirt and tie that will hang in the closet unused, or a subscription to FWN.com?
Maybe, I should drop a few hints.

I was up in northern Idaho hunting for a couple of weeks and came back to this. What is with the change in format. Is this now a pay for service website?

Hi Frank, I hope you had a good time on your hunting trip.
Is it pay for service? Well, you didn't pay anything, did you? And you're here, and we're chatting with each other. Self-evident I'd say.
Take a read around especially at the threads that explain about the "Members Only" portion of the New Knots. As far as I know, there is nothing in there that was previously free. Here is where you should start, a thread in which Matt explains things pretty well, IMHO.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
I sort of agree but about that post with the person with the CD he just bought.. As I remember it stated very clearly that one year free 'LOOKIN' at stuff.. I would be a bit 'ticked' too!OK.. Bit Off subject but it's me...
