Back in 2016 I replaced all my fluorescent lighting with LED. My shop is 20'X36' and I had twenty, four foot fixtures (each with two 40 watt bulbs). I used the same fixtures and removed the ballasts and rewired them for the LEDs. Now I have only ten fixtures with much better lighting. I've been very satisfied with the change. I bought the bulbs off Amazon. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CQ2ZKZO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are Frosted 5000K Kelvin Daylight 2200LM Bright White Light from a company named Sunco. Not only do I have better lighting with fewer fixtures, I'm also saving on electricity. (each bulb is only 18 watts) Rewiring the fixtures was pretty straight forward as per the enclosed instructions, but if you have little wiring experience it would be a good idea to consult with someone who does. Hope this has been helpful.
