Hi everyone.Iam new to this so be gentle.I heard you can make a vacuum press from a compressor out of an old refrig. and an new 5 gal. propane tank.I know I would need a regulator also. has anyone seen or made one?

Look at joewoodworker.com The site has lots of info on building your own vaccuum presses, and also the needed parts to do so. I built the venturi pump using their kit, and it works very well.

Yes, I have made several. The simplest method is to just let the pump run, you don't need anything but it and a hose to the bag. It is not under much load, so the motor is not pulling a lot of amps. This is the easiest and quickest way to get started.
