Tomorrow evening will be the “Official Opening” for a show which I am part of, along with several other Arkansas Furniture Makers. Some of the other people may be known by some of you. Doug Stowe, is the box maker who has several books published. Mia Hall is the professor at UALR furniture design dep. Tommy Farrell does lots of commercial installations here. Whitney Patterson, Lucas Strack, Jerry Estill, and I think John Bruel.
I am guessing there are around 40 works in the gallery, which should make it easy to find something interesting for almost anyone.
If you are in Little Rock, AR. tomorrow after 5:00 PM, you ought to come by for a beverage, and or just visit. The show will run through Jan 10, so there is plenty of time to see it if you are passing through here in the next six months.
I don’t mind if you open any of the doors and drawers. while I am there for the opening, I will keep the guards from dragging you away kicking and screaming, but you will be on your own after that. ha

Rats. I wish I could get down there, Keith. I didn't know about the show in time and I'm booked up with doctors' appointments tomorrow.
Sorry I didn't post this earlier Larry. If you get down while it is up, you could let me know, and maybe we could meet up, then go grab a brew or something to eat down the the River Market area. I was just finishing an installation for a guy who does a lot of ad work for the Art Center. I ask if he knew of anything coming up. He responded that there was a big Ancient Egyptian show starting in Sep. sometime which is expected to be a huge regional draw. So there will be extra incentive to get down this way by then.
Keith,
I'll be heading back to Arkansas to visit family in Little Rock and Searcy in the next few months. I'll drop you an email and let you know when I'll be there. Will come by to see you again if you are available. And, to see the show.

Hey Alan, You can give me a call, and maybe we can meet up down there. I think there are a few pieces of mine down there that you have not seen, not to mention all of the work of the others.
