Dave, a Google SU video question here: when I click on a "New user" video at the SU site, I just get an empty box where the video should play. any idea why? I have Flash installed, is it a different type?? thanks!

HI Forestgirl. Sorry, I didn't see this until today. Could you post or e-mail the link to the page you're looking at? I'll check it out.
Dave
Hi, Dave. The link is below, any of those tute's. I've got 'em now -- what I discovered is, if I use "Open in New Window" I get the video just fine (goes to YouTube). When I simply clicked on a video, however, which is supposed to create an embedded YouTube video, I get the blank screen. There's an "Object expected" script error that shows up. (Why the heck aren't those error messages copy-able?!)
Thanks! I was going to email you, then I discovered the workaround.

Well, I'm glad that worked. Who knows how those links work and why sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you have any questions.

Dave, yesterday I "subscribed" to Plan3D to work on a makeover for one of the tack rooms at the barn (simple, relatively) and then to re-do our living room virtually-speaking. I think playing with this program will help me understand how to work in SketchUp. I'm finally getting the hang of panning, walking, orbiting (without ending up splayed on the wall surface like a bug, LOL!). When I'm not sure I have an object against the wall, or lined up right, I go to the Blueprint view. Starting to be fun!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Good on you FG. I sent you an e-mail.
