How do you make a sliding dovetail drawer front when you have to stop the same distance from the top on both ends wihout changing the set up? Is there an online video?
Thanks for your help.

You're asking about making a stopped dovetail shaped groove on the back of the drawer's front panel?
Whether it is done on a router table or with a jig to guide a hand held router, I can't picture any way of doing it that wouldn't require some change in the set up for the left and right ends, but it wouldn't seem that difficult to get matching grooves.

Check out this router jig for cutting sliding dovetails in drawer fronts. I didn't study the image but I suspect it might do the trick.

Thank you that looks like it could have lots of applications. I appreciate you sending me the info.

This looks like what I needed. I think it'll work.
