I have a PC 690 Router and when I use the PC template guides they loosen up before I can get 6 inches into a cut. Any idea on how to keep the guide nuts from loosening up?
Thanks

I had the same problem on my last project, but it only happened once. I tightened mine up with a pair of channellocks on the locking nut. I read what sounds like a better solution in one of the recent WW mags. They recommended using plumbers teflon tape on the fitting. Seems like an easy fix that would not run the risk of knocking the threaded insert out of round.
had not thought about teflon tape. Seems like I heard something about brass bushings being better than steel, does anyone know about that. can't use channel locks, to mus chance of overtightening, you are talkin to someone whoe broke a 1/2" craftsman pull handle
Yes.
