I am thinking of purchasing a jointer. I had it down to a 6 inch model by delta. But now I see these other models that are 41/2 inches, they are little table top models. Are they worth a look or should I go ahead as planed.

Hi if you have the room for the 6" or large go for the larger one. You might want to look at rigid . Years ago I bought a Busy Bee 6 in jointer , it was good.

I had a 4" jointer for awhile. Almost useless. Get the 6" with the longest bed you can find. Gary
