Try a Roto-Zip tool.Similar, but not really a plunge router. The concept of a small trimmer that can plunge and then cut with enough power, strikes me as odd and a real engineering compromise.

Dear Frank,
Dremmel had literature about a new small plunge router base several months ago. Have not seen it yet at stores.
It's not like the old version they had. It looks more useful.
If any one has seen one or has one, would be interesed in comments about it.
Ryobi had a plunge base that would fit their current trim router, and would be interested in one of those, but none has yet been on sight.
