Hi everybody,
I’m not completely sure how to go about building some large tables in a small shop. I figure I will have to joint and plane these tables by hand. I have 3 bids coming in for conference tables that are 12 to 14 feet long. I don’t have a long enough run in the shop to use my power tools for the tops and the customers are dead set on them being one solid top. If anybody has any tricks or ideas that I can try that would be greatly appreciated. Again the table tops will be 44 to 48 inches wide by 12 to 14 feet long.
Thanks Brandon

i think you'll either need portable machinery on wheels, or a wide shop door to open as you mill the wood in/out of your shop...
my shop has a limit of 8' stock thru the unisaw, so i'm well aware of that when giving bids.i could do longer work, but it'd be a major PITA...
