Does anyone know of plans to make a snowflake ornament rather than the one in an early issue of FWW? I saw a great one in Seattle while on a trip and would like to make other versions.
Thanks, john

Hi John (is that AK as in Alaska? cool) Snowflake patterns abound. If you're near a Barnes and Noble, their shelves have more scrollsaw books than any other specific type of WWing it seems. If not, try Google.com Here's a sample search:

Good luck!
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
I make snowflakes by drilling a pattern of Forstner holes in a 4X4" block. The pattern needs, of course, to be snowflake like. I then slice off the snowflakes on the band saw and do any necessary additional trimming with the BS before painting. I hope this helps.
