Was driving home the other day and spotted this going on..made me appreciate even the days when I was not making any money. Heights and myself dont get along, so the thought of this was too much. You might like to know that at the time of these pics it was about 34 degrees….yes, summer to some of you , but with the wind blowing strong at that height I felt sorry for thses guys. The last pic was taken from my driveway about 1/2 mile away..they were about to put on the final branch. I am guessing they ended up about 300 feet.

At least they have a crane to stack the sections. How tall is the tower & where are you located?
By the looks of the picture, atleast they have the anchor bolts lined up in the footings. If you get the wrong anchor bolts or if they use the wrong template for layout, THAT will make for a REAL BAD DAY stacking a tower.
Feel sorry for the guy that has to put connectors at the end of the cable at the top of the tower. Cold sharp copper, windchill......bare hands.... Makes me glad I'm making sawdust these days.
When you said "branch", I thought you may have been talking about one of the 'Monopines' or 'Monopalms'. But then again, the monopalm would have frawns....
