I’m a wood sculptor located in west central Florida. I lost my basswood supplier recently, and I’m looking for a new source. I carve rather large pieces, and need 16/4 boards that are at least 8 ft. in length. I actually work with 5-6 ft. lengths, but I usually have to trim each end to get the checking out. Width is generally unimportant.
I usually buy 200-300 BF in a single order, however I could purchase larger or smaller amounts, if that was required. I can’t completely state that “price is no object”, but I’m certainly willing to pay a premium for good materials.
OK… Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks, Fraser
