Source for clock mechanisms, hands, face
components. I have no problem finding he electronic movement, but it
seems hard to negotiate around their site to get the other components.
What do those of you that have built clocks find about Klockit? I am
looking for hands a brass clock face and other hardware (something like what is shown in the URL below). Seems hard to find the other components on their website after you find the movement. Here is what I want to build (not the specific stained glass design,
just the frame and clock face). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/eganders/clockfaces_0001.jpg
I like the brass face, but I can’t find it at the Klockit site. Can someone
help? Maybe I just don’t know how to negotiate the site. Are there better sources?
Has anyone built the McNeil clock frame shown in the URL?

There are several clock sites. Clockparts.com has been good to deal with for me, and are usually less expensive.
There's a couple of ways to approach clock projects. You can buy "fitups" (one piece inserts), or go with a separate movement (with or without pendulum), face, hands, and bezel (glass)...those are mostly interchangeable and are purchased separately, though they may have some standard packages.

Found this site and bookmarked it in case I ever needed it. Might be a solution for you.
