It has been years since I needed hinges for a project. Now that I need them and have begun shopping, I nearly fell over at how expensive they seem to be. I am looking for basic square, nickel, chrome, or brass hinges (not “european” style) and have checked woodcraft, renovator’s supply, rockler, as well as Lowes and HD (nothing at all). Does anyone know of a source for hinges that are less than $15-20 a pair?
Thanks,
Jason

this place has everything
I had forgotten about Lee Valley. I ended up ordering Blum hinges from them, though I had planned not to use european-style hinges. I have bookmarked the door-hinges.com site. They do have a great selection and prices. At least I know there is a source for "regular" hinges that are not going to cost more than the total of the project materials!
Thank you - Jason
