I was wondering whether anyone knows of any internet lumber supply sources in Canada. Cross boarder duties and taxes really hurt the wallet and not having access to a vehicle makes finding interesting wood difficult. Hope someone has some suggestions. Thanks.

A&M woods in Cambridge will help you.
I've never ordered online, but here are a few I know of. I regularly purchase from black forest, but I live close to the store so I can see the lumber before purchasing.

I have been in contact with a place in Ontario called Loyalist Forest. A friend of mine in Florida recently order several hundred bdft of maple and butternut with excellent results but a significant delivery charge! I ended up buying my lumber (cherry, maple, black walnut, beech) from a source in Bristol, Vt and didn't have to pay shipping. The site in Ontario is http://www.loyalistforest.com/

I thought Canada had all kinds of wood.. Pine and your hardwoods are beautiful if you can finish it right.. I can't..
WillGeorge, you know how it is, when you have Bud you want Molson X, when you have Molson X you want Guiness...........same with wood.
