Source for pre-cut round router template
Hi all,
Does anybody know of a source for pre-cut router templates, preferably made of acrylic or other durable material? Specifically, I’m looking for a set of “matching” round templates that I can use to cut a disc and also a matching hole that the disc would fit in. I know I could make them myself, but I would like them to be precise and they need to be fairly large radius (5-7 inches). Any ideas or suggestions?

If you can find some common household or hardware item of the right circumference, you could use an inlay kit (click) to make them.

Forest.. OR a good pattern bit for the router.. Use the original as THE Guide!
Thanks forestgirl. That's a cool jig (basically compensates for the thickness of the router bit when cutting inlays)Dave
621 Subbase (and others) will cut 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.00" holes to ~third decimal place.
If you save the disc cut out (.500" smaller than hole) you can use it with appropriate collar guide/bush and cutter to produce 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12.00" plug.
A reasonable alternative, essentially saving one templet.
