I have a need for a piece of solid crotch mahogany ( 13″ wide x 18″ long), and my usual suppliers can’t help me. If anyone knows of a source I would appreciate hearing from them.
Thanks
Rob Millard

Rob,
A while back, Wall Lumber in Mayodan, NC, advertised solid Mahogany crotches. I don't know if they still have, or could get you what you need, but it might be worth a try. Maybe Irion, in PA?

Ray
Have you tried http://www.gilmerwood.com/Default.htm ??
Unfortunately their site isn't laid out so that you can search for a specific species, but they have pics of every board in stock. You'd just have to browse through them all to see if they have what you're looking for.
I love the smell of sawdust in the morning.
Hearn Lumber in PA. They have website.
They had a nice piece of 24"x60" but I bought it. They have lots of smaller stuff.

Rob,
http://www.burlwoodonline.com/default.asp has a good inventory. If they don't have it, they should be able to tell you who does.
