Hello all,
I’m looking for a new source of thick black dyed veneers.
Some background; I’ve been buying from a wonderful distributor here in Colorado for a few years. Great products. Just tried to buy some more 1 mm black dyed Tulipier veneer and for some reason they are no longer shipping to Colorado?! So, I’m on the hunt for a new source.
I have found a couple of places on the web but the thickest I’ve found is 1/32, .8mm, which could work. I’m in the midst of a project where I’m using 1 mm and laminating them up to a 5 mm thickness. So, I would prefer a thicker material to start with.
If any of you have a secret veneer distributor that’s not commonly on the internet I would really appreciate any direction. Or even one that isn’t secret.
Thank you for your time,
t.j.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll check in with them.
Has Colorado boarded the California- everything kills you train? I just bought a drill chuck with a Ca. cancer warning! Distributors often no longer ship to California because of fees and licensing requirements for each and every item in their inventory. I couldn't get an out of State distributor to ship me epoxy that was actually manufactured in California!
Not sure what's going on. B&B Rare Woods has been an excellent source. They are here in Colorado. E-mailed them and got a bit of a cryptic message. May have to do with all the fires here or could be in-state tax issues. Not sure, but hoping they come back on line. Hate to loose such a great local business.
