I've purchased resawn wood veneer 1/10" thick from Foremost Wood Products in Staten Island, N.Y. 718-447-5836. I used it for veneereing stiles and rails on doors and it worked very well. I bought mahoghany & oak, but I believe they will cut anything you need.. A lot less work than cutting it myself.. They shipped this stuff to my shop in Texas, so location is not a problem.

Certainly Wood (http://www.certainlywood.com/) has 1/16" veneers in twelve species.
John Wilson, Boxmaker, sells everything you could possibly need to make Shaker boxes, including the bands for the box and lid sides. Download his catalog here:

There are many, many generous and helpful retailers out there. John and his team exemplify service and support. The last time I called, his partner kept ME on the phone longer than I'd planned, giving helpful advice.
