I am troubled with very few ‘spam’ messages – with one exception. I receive between 5 and 10 “offerings from Taunton per week. This far exceeds the total of unwanted emails from any other source. Now the question.
If I block Taunton spam, will I also block notification of Knots messages.

I am on the distribution lists for Taunton (by choice) and at only 5 per week I don't think I get that many. Thats not that bad. However, if you wish to get off those lists, genereally they have instructions at the bottom to get off the lists. Click on the unsubscribe and it should be removed and you can still get your knots notices.
"You received this message because you are a Taunton customer or have registered at Taunton.com. This email was sent to you by The Taunton Press. "Click here"to update your email preferences."
Above is the text at the bottom of the last notice I just received. In the scope of things I get in E-mail, they are infrequent, but to each his own.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
Thanks Guys.I will read all the way to the bottom next time.Frosty"I sometimes think we consider the good fortune of the early bird and overlook the bad fortune of the early worm." FDR - 1922
I receive Knots message notifications, but have never, as far as I can recall, received any kind of unsolicited offer from Taunton. So there must be a way to set the preferences in your profile to avoid them.

Frosty, I've noticed an increase in the number of Taunton "offerings" in the last month or so. Hopefully, they will decrease to the more normal once or twice/month after the holidays. In my grumpiest moments, I was tempted to fire off a grouchy note to someone over there, but never did it.
Jamie,If they 'push you over the edge' be sure to add my name to the letter. (I've had the same thoughts about it being a holiday push.)JerryFrosty"I sometimes think we consider the good fortune of the early bird and overlook the bad fortune of the early worm." FDR - 1922
