Can you provide me with some more info. For instance what browser are you using? Are you on a Mac/PC? Do you have Dial up or Broadband connection. Also if you have pop up blockers on try turning them off and see if that resolves the issue. I just typed an incorrect word and the spell check worked fine for me using Mozilla on a PC.
I am using a PC / Widows XP / DSL / IE v.6 / pop-up blockers off. When I hit spell check the window comes up, the misspelled words are underlined but that is as far as it gets. The progress bar compleates but if I move the cursor to the max/min/close area I get an hourglass like it is waiting for something. Just tried it on this note: same results. KDM

Mike: Ya know its funny, didn't stay in school long, did not care for anything academic till I hit around 30-35 years old. Then I started reading and working on spelling, grammar; basic composition. I can now do all that much better then when I left school (after 6th grade). I have read most all the classics, some philosophy and have taken up ancient Greek history and literature. Still need the spell checker. Duke<!----><!---->
