   Try spell checker after going to the Norton icon on the toolbar at the lower right of the screen and right clicking on 'Disable Auto Protect'. If it works, good. If not, you may need to change your secruity settings. Then, go back and click on 'Enable Auto Protect' when you finish.

   It is a pop-up window.  No need to change your virus protection, just un-block the pop-up. 

   forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
