I have Powermatic 64A left tilt table saw. Does anyone know of an after market splitter that is quick change similar to the Merlin that work on a Powermatic 64A?

FYI I looked at the Biesemeyer page, and for Powermatic they have splitters only for the 63 and 66.
The Microjig splitter will work.
That's the one that sticks in the insert plate, right? Ever forget to remove it when doing a miter cut? :)My goal is for my work to outlast me. Expect my joinery to get simpler as time goes by.
Yep...that's the one. Actually, I don't own one but thought it should work...it looks low enough that it shouldn't interfere with most cuts. If I had one and it could interfere with miter cuts, I'd definitely forget to take it out sooner or later! ;)
I believe that Merlin makes a splitter for the General 185 left tilt contractors table saw

If my memory serves me correctly the General, Powermatic and Bridgewood contrator saws come from the same Taiwan source. You might try calling Melin and see if the General unit might fit your saw.
I looked at the General and it looks like it would fit. I called the Excalibur folks a few months ago and was told that the Merlin would not fit, however the person on the other end of the phone seemed confused. I think try again.
