I use a Fuji four turbine hvlp and am having trouble spraying shellac. I have added 10 ft of hose as recommended by the mfg to cool the air. but still cannot get smooth results. I suspect it is drying before it has a chance to flow out. Is there such a thing as a retarder for shellac, if that in fach is the problem,. I have no problem with lacquer, poly or even high gloss oils and latex finishes

I am not a spray finisher so I can't be of much help with this. One of the other experts would be the person to ask.
