   Don't go starting trouble, Will. It will be the second week of May before I can gas up my motorcycles and get to eating bugs. I can tell by my firewood pile, there's still a long way to go before ice out. If you start us having spring fever now, we'll need double meds before the leaves on the alders pop out.

   Here in the Great Northwest, we're having our usual February Sun Break (after a near-record-setting stretch of rain).  It's been gorgeous, in the 50's days, 30's at night.  Once we get used to that, March will roll around with its rain, rain, rain LOL.  Like you in Maine, we won't really be able to have fun until about May.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

   nice to hear you are all having fun yeah we had a little snow today 26.9" the biggest snow fall in the ny-nj area yeah its white but in 3 days pitchers and catchers thats good

   it look like spring a couple of weeks ago temps  in the 50-60's tonite they are talking blizzard only in jersey wait 5 min, it will change

   The leaves haven't even started to turn yellow here - don't wish (our) summer away!

   When you guys are complaining about cabin fever, we're feeling the first chills of our southern hemisphere winter. It's just gotta be months away yet!

   Spring must be close.  I played golf twice in the last three weeks.

   Yeah, RIGGGGHT.  2 days ago it was 60 degrees, this morning we had snow.

   1 - measure the board twice, 2 - cut it once, 3 - measure the space where it is supposed to go        4 - get a new board and go back to step 1
